The first thing I wanted to rant about was religion, when I made this blog, but I decided, I’d save myself a lot of tedious arguments, since, while I’d rather make someone reconignise that they’ve been believing in utter bull’ for the last 20 years or so of their lifes, if they were anything like me, even if they knew that there was no possible way that what the believe in could be real, their religion has become a very important role in their life style, and they wouldn’t give it up because of a couple of blog posts they read.
Never the less, I still think it’s pathetic that we can’t have groups that don’t have idiotic stories to go with them, I mean, essentially, religion is a way of life, more than anything, and defintely helps people make wise decisions, I’ll give them that.
But, still, why can’t we have groups of people, who don’t believe in God, but still believe in keeping their virginity prior to marriage(another thing I find sort of pathetic), or, believe in right or wrong? This way, people will know who to relate with, since, in my opinion, religion is a massive grouping system, you only have to look at the Monarchie’s time line to figure that out. I mean, a Catholic is most likely going to feel more comfortable going out with a guy she knows will burn up in hell, and he knows it too, if he trys to sleep with her or something, so why can’t it be that she’d feel comfortable going out with a guy that she knows will be essentially eliminated from the group where his family is?
In the end of the day, I just want to say, that I DO think religion is a very important part to everyone’s life, even Athiests, but think we should all finally grow up, and get over this stupid idea that you have to involve some sort of Zombie reference, or equally jaw-dropping bull shit story, to make relations… Honestly.
